    Yes, we are accepting new patients of all ages.

    ”What

    We currently accept Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Medical Mutual, Healthspan, Caresource, Tricare, Ohio Medicaid, and Medicare. This list is subject to change. If your insurance carrier is not one of the plans listed above, please contact your carrier to see if Dr. William Washington is an in-network provider for your plan. Even if Dr. Washington is not an in-network provider on your insurance plan, you may be seen at Linden Medical or Family Health Care Center. You would need to check with your insurance carrier to inquiry about the fees for being seen by an out-of-network provider.

    Yes, all co-pays and fees are due at the time of service.

    We accept cash, checks, and debit/credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/Discover).

    We accept patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly.

    You should bring the following to your first appointment at Linden Medical Center or Family Health Care Center: completed patient forms (available for download on this website), current insurance card, photo identification, social security card, names and information of any doctors/specialists that you are currently being seen by, and bottles of all current medication (including herbal supplements/over the counter medications).

    It is recommended that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment in order to allow for time to submit all necessary paperwork and for verification/update of insurance and/or personal information.

    Yes, we collect blood for lab tests to be sent to a larger lab company, and we also perform some rapid in-house lab tests that provide immediate results. We do not perform any x-ray/imaging tests at our facility.

    ”How

    Dr. Washington will make every effort to provide you with enough of your medication(s) to last until your next schedule appointment. So, it is likely that you are due to be seen if you are out of your medication(s). If you are running low on your medication and not due for your next scheduled appointment, then you are advised to call your pharmacy and request a refill. In most cases, you will need to be seen for an appointment in order to get your prescriptions filled. You will need to be seen for all new prescriptions.

    We do offer same-day appointments for sick visits.

    If there is a true medical emergency, then you are advised to call 911 immediately. If you become sick after normal business hours and it is not a medical emergency, you may call our offices at 614-268-8221 (Linden) or 614-274-4171 (Family Health Care Center) and you will be connected to the on-call physician. Please be aware that the on-call physician cannot call in prescriptions or schedule appointments.
